Hannah Grace, Try
“What if it wasn’t in your nature?
To stay in the same place?
What if you knew you could change it,
Knew that you could take up space?
What if the whole world was waiting,
For someone just like you?
Right where you are,
No waiting for stars to line up perfect,
All you have to do is try … ”
While not technically a circus song, this composition works well for any mindset or situation.
The encouraging message is not only uplifting but honest. Though there are many songs of this type, a lot tend to ring of empty platitudes or banal insights. Hannah Grace’s Try is a cut above the rest. Worthy of aspiring circus performers as well as aspiring dreamers everywhere.
Her vocals shine with sincerity, almost resembling a pep talk from a trusted friend. You can almost feel an arm around your shoulder as you listen.
If you need a boost of encouragement or positivity in your life, this is a wonderful track to add to a playlist.
Question: Does Madame Zoltara have any predictions for the upcoming Academy Awards?
-Reed McGuiness, Tacoma, WA
Well, Reed, if we’re speaking of the psychic world, let’s turn this into a full edition of Spirit Speak! Take it away, Madame Z.
Hollywood crackles with growing energy in anticipation of tonight’s ceremony!
I sense invisible waves rippling through the empyreal ether of the entertainment world.
And why should I not? Phantasmagoric sensations cloak me as if dreamy furs of chinchilla or mink or ermine.
All of which are mine to show off and parade as I choose.
There is one caveat I must add: the true best picture of the past year went criminally unacknowledged.
I speak of course of Coven of Witches 4: The Payback, in which I had an impactful (though uncredited) cameo as “Woman at the seance wearing magenta.”
Sadly, we went unrecognized by the Academy.
I am hoping to return for Coven of Witches 5: Resurrection, in which perhaps my many script ideas will be considered.
But enough! The time to make my predictions has arrived. My mind’s eye stares with inscrutable clarity! Let me tell you what it sees …
Lead actor: Michael B. Jordan, Sinners.
Lead actress: Emma Stone, Bugonia.
Director: Paul Thomas Anderson, One Battle After Another.
Best Picture: One Battle After Another.
Thus concludes the prescient prognostication of Madame Zoltara for today!
